Equipment is essential to daily living and is required to live independent and productive lives by those individuals with disabilities or persons with special needs. The following information is a partial listing of equipment and other necessary supplies that may assist persons with disabilities to live independent and productive lives. This listing will include those types of equipment that are affordable for those in most need and are economically disadvantaged.
Types of Equipment
Lifts: These types of equipment allow individuals with disabilities the ability to be transferred to bathroom accessibility necessities (getting in and out of bathtubs) or entering vehicles that they would not normally have access to.
