The Library of Congress lends books to persons who are visually impaired or have other disabilities that prevent reading print material. The service is free, and books are mailed to borrowers. Allow yourself some time to use this web site. It has an incredible number of links to just tons of information. You may need to download some software to get full use out of it. For example, if you want to hear the talking book sample, you need a real audio player. It is definitely worth the time it takes, and offers services that some consumers may find very useful. |
